(304) <br /> REPORT: City Engineer, December 19,1995 <br /> Mayor Hartnett asked that assurances be given to the City that the contractor, Rudolph <br /> and Sletten, would complete the scope of work within the number of hours described in <br /> the established budget for the new City Hall, and asked staff to include that assurance <br /> as part of the agreement. <br /> MEMO 12/20/95 <br /> In response to Council questions, City Manager Everett described the terms of the <br /> agreement and the set amount that would be established in the agreement for the <br /> contractor's services, subject to Council approval: If the final agreed price exceeds 110% <br /> of the fee basis of $7,300,000, CM/CG shall receive an additional fee in the sum equal to <br /> 7.4% of any amount above 110% of the $7,300,000.. <br /> In response to Council questions, Sharon Jones, Project Manager stated that if all goes <br /> as planned, bid specification packages would go out to bid the end of March or first part of <br /> April. <br /> City Manager Everett advised that at the January 22, 1996 Council Meeting, the <br /> architects and engineers for the new City Hall project will submit alternatives (and <br /> drawings or pictures) covering the whole project requested by Council to bring the new <br /> City Hall within the established construction budget of $7,300,000. City Manager Everett <br /> added that the Council could decide at that meeting if the accrued interest in the C.I.P. <br /> account should be applied to the new City Hall project. <br /> TITLE READ.
