E. Hardware/Equipment <br /> Major components of the proposed System include but are not limited to, ticket dispensers (entry <br /> lanesj, ticket accepters (exit lanes), cont�ol-gate barriers, vehicle-detection ground loops, pay-on- <br /> foot machines, customer-fee displays, intercoms, proximity-card readers, voice prompts to guide <br /> the customers, cashier terminals, computer interfaces, monitors, IP intercoms, CCN, validation <br /> equipment and printers. <br /> Pay Stations and stand-alone rate-display screens must update automatically when rates are <br /> updated. <br /> Pay Station and cashier station printers must have detailed receipt-printing capability (to show <br /> multiple rate periods,charge for each rate period,taxes, discounts,etc.}. <br /> Printers utilized within the equipment shall be thermal printers. <br /> 1. Outdoor Equipment/Enclosure General Requirements <br /> The removal, disposal or salvage of existing equipme�t must be incorporated into the overall <br /> cost proposal. <br /> Outdoor components shall operate within the environmental conditions described below: <br /> Component Condition <br /> Temperature -13 degrees F to 113 degrees F ` <br /> Relative Humidity 10 to 90 perce�t <br /> Precipitation Blowing rain,3.5 inches per hour ' <br /> Noise Exposure 130 d6 <br /> Shock and Vibration Seismic Zone 3 <br /> Sand, Dust, and Contaminants Intermittent industrial area exposures <br /> Possible Hazards Vandalism, power disturbances ' <br /> Outdoor equipment housings shall be designed ta function under different and typical <br /> environmental conditions, including partially enclosed environments exposed to dust and <br /> precipitation. <br /> Equipment housing units will be thermostatically controlled to control internal operating <br /> temperatures for optimal performance. <br /> Equipment must provide sufficient openings to allow easy access to all components and meet <br /> with all requirements of The National Electric Code (NEC). <br /> Equipment housings are to be free of sharp edges, corners, or points capable of causing injury <br /> to maintenance personnel or public and have an organized internal wiring system with wiring <br /> harnesses and or proper terminal termination strips so as not to sustain damage when <br /> equipment is operating. <br /> Where possible, equipment shall be designed not to allow for fasteners or hardware that could <br /> REV:09-10-15 VR <br /> Page 17 of 61 <br /> ATTY/AGR2015.217/Scheidt 8� Bachmann USA, Inc.
