3.2 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. General:Submit the following according to these specifications. <br /> B. Schedule: Contractor shall submit final schedule of fabrication, delivery, installation, and testing <br /> within one week after notice to proceed. Update schedules at 7-day intervals. <br /> C. Provide those responsible for related work with: <br /> 1. Installation diagrams, details and templates for setting mounted equipment. <br /> 2. Templates and cast-in inserts to anchor freestanding equipment to curbs and bases. <br /> 3. Communication protocol or interface requirements for integration. <br /> 4. CMS: Provide City with a complete list of initial installation administrator user names and <br /> passwords for all authorized users. <br /> D. Shop Drawings shall include: <br /> 1. Dimensioned drawings showing plans, elevations, sections and large-scale details indicating <br /> coordination and relationships with other construction. <br /> 2. Product literature and applicable warranties for each component or product. <br /> 3. Detailed information about the CMS software including: <br /> a. Communication protocol, polling procedures and transaction message flow from <br /> peripheral devices to and through CMS <br /> b. Communication failure/error identification and recovery <br /> c. Fault tolerance <br /> d. Back-up procedures <br /> e. Data storage and retrieval <br /> E. Samples <br /> Submit samples and specifications of cabinet/paint finishes, customer receipts, standard reports, PARCS <br /> signage, network equipment and hardware, and other elements to be selected by City within three weeks <br /> after notice to proceed.Approval/selections will be returned to Contractor within 2 weeks of submittal. <br /> F. Operating Documentation <br /> Prior to initiation of field test and training, Contractor shall deliver operations manuals, maintenance and <br /> administration manuals in number as specified below. Manuals may be combined as long as it includes all <br /> the topics specified for each usage. Generic manuals covering a range of products are not acceptable. <br /> 1. Supervisor Manual - Manual is designed for Supervisor or authorized individual for day-to-day <br /> operation of the PARCS and CMS. It shall explain all features and functions (e.g., log-on/off, <br /> monitor, sort, prepare and print standard and ad hoc reports) required for day-to-day <br /> management.One hard copy and one reproducible/electronic copy shall be provided. <br /> 2. Maintenance Manual - This manual shall contain detailed instructions on how to perform <br /> regular and preventive maintenance on all components of PARCS and communications <br /> network that can be performed by City staff. One hard copy and one reproducible/electronic <br /> copy shall be provided. <br /> 3. System Administration Manual -This manual shall contain all procedures necessary for proper <br /> monitoring and administration of PARCS. One hard copy and one reproducible/electronic <br /> copy shall be provided. <br /> G. Contractor shall also deliver to City copies of all licenses, registrations, documentation, disks and <br /> other media as may have been included with those commercially available software packages <br /> provided with system. In addition, Contractor shall ensure that all licenses, registrations and <br /> warranties have been transferred to City prior to final software turnover. <br /> H. Testing Plan and Documentation: Provide a test plan for review and app�ova) by City 30 days prior <br /> to start of first test.
