PART 2— PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1 ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS OF PRIMARY COMPONENTS <br /> A. Acceptable manufacturers for any and all primary components shall meet the following <br /> requirements: <br /> 1. PARCS manufacturers shall have been continuously in operation for past five years. <br /> 2. Manufacturers shall have current version of each primary component currently operating <br /> successfully in three or more parking environments of similar size and activity. The lefferson <br /> garage has app�oximately 65,000 parking transactions and 25,000 validations a month. The <br /> Marshall Garage has approximately 22,000 parking transactions, 6,700 monthly permit uses, <br /> and 1,000 validations a month. <br /> 3. System shall incorporate equipment of proven reliability that can be documented from <br /> similarly sized installations that provide features and performance comparable to that <br /> required herein. <br /> 4. All hardware components of the PARCS shall be new and the latest models with production <br /> dates not more than 6 months from date of installation. <br /> B. Substitutions: <br /> It is recognized that the�e are variations in equipment between manufacturers. Where functional <br /> performance, features or quality of Contractor's proposed system varies materially from that <br /> specified, submit request for substitution identifying substitution being proposed. This submittal <br /> may be accompanied by catalog sheets, brochures, and technical specifications of Contractor's <br /> proposed system.The City shall make the final decision on acceptability of a substitution. <br /> 2.2 CMS SOFTWARE SYSTEMS <br /> A. Contractor will provide continual software updates and PA-DSS compliance at no additional charge <br /> to the City during the warranty and extended maintenance periods. The CMS system will be <br /> password protected and the information will only be available to the City or users authorized by the <br /> City for access to the data. This applies to license fees only, labor associated with Release or <br /> Version Changes would be chargeable. Operating system and database obsolescence are not <br /> considered part of PA-DSS compliance. <br /> B. Vendor must give two weeks advance notice of changes and updates in writing. A description of <br /> changes must be provided. <br /> PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> 3.1 PROJECT COORDINATION <br /> General: Meet with City within 10 days of notice to proceed to verify all details of PARCS system. <br /> Contractor's schedule for completion, as generally outlined in Attachment 1, shall be achieved with <br /> adequate time tor hookup,testing, and trial period as specified herein. <br /> REV: 09-10-15 VR <br /> Page 21 of 61 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2015.217/Scheidt& Bachmann USA, Inc.
