Having the experience of successful PARCS replacement in compa�able sized projects worldwide, <br /> we fully understand the complexity in transitioning an active operation. We have examined <br /> the operation of the City and developed a plan that allows the operations staff to manage, <br /> audit, and collect all due revenues from the parking facilities included in the RFP during all phases <br /> of the installation. Certainly there will be additional efforts and procedures required during <br /> this process, but the most important aspect of our plan is the minimal impact on your parking <br /> clients' needs. <br /> The following are the sequential steps from the time a project is awarded to the time the <br /> equipment is installed and tested <br /> Step 1- Post award develop comprehensive system design document <br /> Sept 2- Develop jointly a detailed transition plan <br /> Step 3_ Provide detailed pre-installation factory acceptance test (FAT) plan <br /> Step 4- Convene locally or at one of the S & B testing facilities. This will be attended <br /> by ONT staff— consultant staff, S&B dedicated Project Staff. <br /> Step 5- Install Head-End equipment <br /> Step 6- Provide comprehensive training for the following: <br /> • Superviso� <br /> • Audit <br /> • Cashier <br /> • Maintenance <br /> Step 7- Transition lane equipment <br /> Step 8- Perform (LAT) lane acceptance test as each lane is transitioned to ensure <br /> compliance. <br /> Step 9_ Once all lanes are complete, perform overall system acceptance test. <br /> Milestones <br /> There are a number of crucial pre-requisite tasks that have to be addressed by both the Scheidt <br /> & Bachmann team and the Redwood City prvject team.
