Supervisors <br /> Initial Training Session <br /> When: 4 days post short term lot acceptance <br /> #of Attendees: 5 <br /> #of Sessions: 4 (3 attendees maximum per session / attendees must attend <br /> 2 sessions) <br /> Session Length: 6 Hours <br /> Description: The training session will include a discussion on the PARCS system functionality. Total <br /> system operation will be covered including the cashiering operation at the fee computers, <br /> exception transaction reporting, management reports, Pay on Foot operations and procedures, <br /> and diagnostic procedures. <br /> The supervisors will then be shown normal system operational procedures such as ticket loading, <br /> receipt printer loading, etc. <br /> A sample of system reports will be given to each attendee followed with a discussion of the <br /> reports format and content. At this time, a procedural policy document will be issued and <br /> discussed by an administrative member of the City's parking management staff. The discussion <br /> will include the operational aspects of the PARCS system as they relate to the policy guidelines. <br /> Pos tA ctivation Training Session <br /> When: 3 Weeks after complete system activation <br /> #of Aitendees: 5 <br /> #�of Sessions: 2 (3 attendees per sessionj <br /> Session Length: 4 Hours <br /> Description: The training will be held on-site in one of the exit lanes during non-peak hours of <br /> operation. The exit lane will be closed to normal garage traffic. The supervisors will be asked to <br /> process normal and exception transactions. Lane activity will be simulated by a training assistant. <br /> If they have any questions or issues with a type of transaction, they will be shown the proper <br /> procedure. They then must process that type of transaction without assistance.
