ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION AND AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE WATER RECYCLING <br /> FACILITIES PLANNING GRANT' APPLICATION FOR THE <br /> REDWOOD CITY RECYCLED WATER PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State Water Resources Control Board ("SWRCB") has <br /> established a program for financial assistance of grants for a facilities planning study of <br /> water recycling facilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") has completed a Water Recycling <br /> Feasibility Study for the Redwood Shores Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City wishes to apply for a grant for a facilities <br /> planning study of the Redwood City Recycled Water Project (the "Project'i); <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manger is hereby authorized and directed to sign and file, for and <br />on behalf of the City. a Water Recycling Facilities Planning Grant Application for a grant <br />from SWRCB in an amount not to exceed seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for a <br />facilities planning study of the Project. <br /> <br /> 2.
