The application was approved with the following findings and conditions: FINDINGS: Pursuant to Article 2 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance and to the California Health and Safety Code Section 1.596.70, a permit for a large family day care home (up to 14 children) is approved based on the following findings: 1. The provider has secured a large family day care home license from the State of California, Department of Social Services. The applicant shall provide proof of such license to the Planning and Redevelopment Division. The applicant obtained a license for a large family day care home from the State of California, Department of Social Services on November 27, 200:[. Proof of license submitted to the Redwood City Planning Division December 10, 200:[. 2. The facility is the residence of the provider and the use is clearly incidental and secondary to the use of the property for residential purposes. The facility, a single-family dwelling, is the applicant's residence. The applicant's residence primarily serves as a single-family dwelling for living and sleeping purposes. 3. No structural changes are proposed which will alter the character of the single-family or multi-family residence.
