EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF WORK <br /> • PFI will provide definitive proof that the problem exists in the <br /> underlying cabling/LAN/V11AN fabric, if there is an assertion to that <br /> effect. <br /> � PFI will have five additional days to correct the problem if it is in the <br /> hardware provided. <br /> • If PFI cannot provide a voice solution that supports VoIP to the <br /> expectations listed above after REDWOOD CITY's implementation of <br /> any LAN/WAN remediation or upgrades recommended by PFI, and <br /> cannot rectify the problem per the section above, it will be considered a <br /> material breach of contract on the part of PFI. PFI will allow <br /> REDWOOD CITY to return the complete system for a full refund and <br /> remove the system once an alternate solution has been put in place by <br /> REDWOOD CITY. <br /> 3. User Acceptance Testinp (UAT) <br /> 3.1. Packet Fusion, Communication Strategies, Redwood City's independent <br /> consultant hired to assist with the implementation of the new phone <br /> system, and Redwood City Information Technology staff will create a User <br /> Acceptance Test (UAT) plan that confirms the operation and resilience of <br /> all hardware and applications installed. <br /> 3.2. Packet Fusion will test all installed equipment of manufacturer and Packet <br /> Fusion supplied test plans and correct all defects prior to UAT. <br /> 3.3. Packet Fusion will have a lead technician and adequate support staff on <br /> site for UAT at least one to two weeks prior to going live with the system <br /> cutover. <br /> 4. Svstem Installation <br /> 4.1. Packet Fusion will allow Redwood City IT Staff to participate in all <br /> equipment and software installation and configuration so that staff <br /> understands the components and configuration and is able to support and <br /> configure the system post cut over. <br /> 4.2. Inter-connection — PFI will be responsible for inter-connection of all newly <br /> supplied equipment, including patch cords, patching, cross-connecting, <br /> and plugging, Telco terminations, specialty wire harnesses, amphenol <br /> tails, toning of analog cable, any required analog station patch panels, or <br /> termination blocks and any additional cables or wires required to connect <br /> the new telephone system to City's internal riser cable infrastructure. <br /> 4.3. Software Versions — PFI will implement the most recent and stable version <br /> of all supplied software.
