SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY <br /> <br />A. Presentation to Council from the Cpl. James Lindsey Wilson Post No. 2310, Veterans of <br />Foreign Wars, Redwood City, California, World War II Commemorative Community <br />((207) <br /> <br />Chairperson Carlos J. Flores and Quartermaster Robert P. Page presented a <br />Certificate of Appreciation to the City Council of Redwood City for outstanding support to <br />the Department of Defense Commemoration for the 50th Anniversary of World War II, a <br />commemorative flag flown for the first time at this year's 4th of July parade, special <br />"ruptured duck" honorable service pins, and a picture of the Mayor taken with World War <br />II veterans at the 4th of July celebration. Mr. Flores introduced Vice Chairman Clyde <br />Clark who took pictures of the presentation, and advised that the flag would be displayed <br />at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center alongside the POW/MIA flag also presented to the <br />City by the VFW.
