RFP 081411 6.1.B. - Page 25 <br /> the Vendor will be affected by the implementation of the proposed Contract and how that will be <br /> proposed to those individuals in terms of the value created for them and their departments in 5.1.1 <br /> above. <br /> 5_3 External Marketing Plan: NJPA is seeking the ability to serve all our current and potential members <br /> nationwide. The Proposer must demonstrate the ability to both market and service their <br /> products/services/services nationwide. Please demonstrate your sales and service force contains sufficient <br /> people in sufficient proximities, to receive the knowledge, opportunity, and reward in order to make a <br /> personal commitment to serving NJPA and NJPA Members nationwide. <br /> 5.4 The Proposer must exhibit the willingness and ability to develop marketing materials and participate <br /> in marketing venues such as: <br /> 5.4.1 Printed Marketing Materials. Proposer will initially produce and thereafter maintain full <br /> color print advertisements in camera ready electronic format including company logos, <br /> identifying the Vendor, the Vendor's general utility for NJPA and NJPA Members, and contact <br /> information to be used by NJPA and NJPA Members in a full page, half page, and quarter page <br /> formats. These advertisements will be used in the NJPA Catalog and publications. <br /> 5.4.2 Press releases and advertisements. Proposer will identify a marketing plan identifying their <br /> anticipated press releases, contract announcements, advertisements in industry periodicals, or <br /> other direct or indirect marketing activities. <br /> 5.4.3 Proposer's Website. Proposer will identify how an Awarded Contract will be displayed on <br /> the Proposer's website. An on-line shopping experience for NJPA and NJPA Members is desired <br /> when applicable and will be viewed as a value-added attribute to a Proposer's Response. <br /> 5.4.4 Trade Shows. Proposer will outline their proposed involvement in the promotion of a <br /> Contract resulting from this RFP through trade shows. Vendors are encouraged to identify trade- <br /> show, and other appropriate venues, for the promotion of any such Contract. Vendors are <br /> strongly encouraged to participate in cooperation with NJPA at the following NJPA embraced <br /> trade shows: <br /> NAEP National Association of Education Procurement <br /> I-ASBO International Association of School Business Officials <br /> NIGP National Institute of Government Purchasing <br /> 5.5 Proposer must also work in cooperation with NJPA to develop a marketing strategy and provide <br /> avenues to equally market and drive sales through the Contract and program to all NJPA Members <br /> nationally. Awarded Vendor agrees to actively market in cooperation with NJPA all available <br /> products/services to current and potential NJPA Members. NJPA reserves the right to deem a proposer <br /> non-responsive or to waive an award based on an unacceptable marketing plan. <br /> 5.6 As a part of this response, submit a complete Marketing Plan on how you would help NJPA rollout <br /> this program to current and potential NJPA Members. NJPA requires the Vendor actively promote the <br /> Contract in cooperation with the NJPA. Vendors are advised to consider marketing efforts in the areas of <br /> 1)Website Link from Vendors website to NJPA's website, 2) Attendance and participation with a display <br /> booth at national trade shows as agreed upon/required by NJPA, and 3) Sales team and sales training <br /> programs involving both Vendor sales management and NJPA staff. NJPA requires awarded Vendors to <br /> offer the NJPA Contract opportunity to all current and qualified NJPA Members. <br /> 5.7 Facilitating NJPA Membership: Proposer should express their commitment to determine the <br /> membership status of their customers whom are eligible for NJPA Membership, AND their commitment <br /> 22 of 47 <br />
