PUBLIC HEARING(S) <br /> A. 2015-2020 Consolidated Plan/Annual Action Plan for the Community <br /> Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership <br /> (HOME) Programs (Item to be Continued to 5/4/2015) (304) <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Continue the item to the City Council Regular Agenda of May 4, 2015. <br /> Mayor Gee announced that this item will be continued to the regular City Council <br /> meeting on May 4, 2015 and that there will be no staff report or Council discussion on <br /> this item tonight. However, he invited anyone who wish to speak on this item to do so <br /> and there were none. <br /> 9. STAFF REPORT(S) <br /> A. Docktown Marina Management and Operations (613) <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Accept staff report and provide direction related to the City operated <br /> Docktown Marina. MINUTE ORDER 15-056 <br /> Dr. Bell gave a presentation on the Docktown Marina (presentation on file), noting that <br /> the city has been managing the Marina for finro years and this is a time for discussion <br /> and the direction from the Council tonight that but it s not a decision to close Docktown. <br /> He elaborated on the timeline and background for the Marina, noting that residential <br /> uses are not permitted in the public waterway. He noted that no one has been allowed <br /> to move into Docktown Marina since the City is uncertain about its future. The State <br /> Lands Commission is asking the City to move forward on a Plan to relocate residents. <br /> The City Manager spoke about other factors dealing with the ability to properly manage <br /> the Marina. He asked if the Council would want staff to look at what a Relocation Plan <br /> would look like, how much it would cost, and the timeline, which the staff will bring back <br /> to the Council. He asked if Council would want staff to gather more information before <br /> developing a closure plan, or continue to work with State Lands if they will change what <br /> they will allow in public waterways.
