The district allows for the conversion of older uses into <br /> incubator spaces for small light industrial uses, including custom manufacturing, light industrial,research <br /> and development businesses,business services and limited office and complementary uses. Corporate and <br /> administrative offices are discouraged. <br /> The purpose of the Light Industrial Incubator Zoning District is to promote viable industrial areas by <br /> providing a highly flexible district for the location of selected industries, especially start up and <br /> expanding light industrial businesses. The district is intended to provide for needed incubator space for <br /> smaller uses supporting health research, clean industrial, green technology, and/or research and <br /> development businesses.
