The City Council hereby finds that the proposed Article 17A Zoning <br /> Ordinance Amendment is in the public interest and consistent with the Redwood City General <br /> Plan. The text of the Zoning Ordinance Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit A and <br /> incorporated herein by reference. <br /> Section 3. This proposed Article 17A Zoning Ordinance Amendment has been <br /> reviewed with respect to applicability of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") and <br /> the State CEQA Guidelines (California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Sections 15000 et seq.). <br /> The City Council has considered the Initial Study Checklist and Negative Declaration, which <br /> found no significant environmental effects as a result of the proposed changes. Pursuant to <br /> Guidelines section 15091(e), the documents and other materials that constitute the record of <br /> proceedings upon which the City Council has based its decision are located in and may be <br /> obtained from the Office of the City Clerk at 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California. <br /> The City Clerk is the custodian of records for all matters before the City. <br /> Section 4. The City Council of Redwood City hereby adopts the Article 2 and Article <br /> 17A Zoning Ordinance Amendment by adding the text shown in double underline (example) and <br /> deleting the text shown in strikeout (ex ), as provided in Exhibit A. Wording in brackets <br /> ([example]) is information only and is not to be included in the published ordinance. <br /> Section 5.
