Councilwoman Buchan, candidate for Council, told her colleagues that she and Councilman Sanfilipo, candidate for Council, had the great pleasure of attending the Unsung Heroes Luncheon on Sunday and described what a wonderful event it was honoring the quiet heroes of Redwood City who work so hard and ask nothing in return. E. Councilman Sanfilipo, candidate for Council, also described the Unsung Heroes Luncheon as a great event, and asked how the search for a sister city in Mexico was progreSSing. Councilwoman La Berge, Council representative to Redwood City International, advised that the search was proceeding, albeit rather slowly, and advised that phone calls and FAXes were being sent out again to the four cities under consideration. F. Councilwoman Steinfeld asked that a discussion of the Trivia Bee be scheduled for Matters of Council Interest on October 9, 1995, and asked that her colleagues support the Trivia Bee, as it had in the past with financial support and team participation. Mayor Pro Tem Hartnett stated that since the Trivia Bee was coming up on October 13, if there were any Council Members who were interested in being on the team or getting someone they know to be on the team, please let him know.
