Appeal of the Planning Commission's approval ofa Tentative Parcel Map to subdivide the <br /> 1.7 acre Mezes Court Development site into two parcels: a residential and a commercial <br /> parcel, with a mutual access agreement; and for a Planned Development Permit to <br /> construct 81 residential apartment units in three stories over a partially subterranean <br /> parking garage and ground floor commercial and cultural space - Joe Steinfeld, 850 Main <br /> Street, Appellant. (603) <br /> Affidavits of mailing and publishing are on file in the City Clerk Department. <br /> 1) Staff report; <br /> REPORT: Redwood City Planning Commission, October 30, 1995 <br /> Acting City Clerk Cornelius administered the oath to all those who intended to give <br /> testimony regarding the appeal of the Planning Commission's approval of a Tentative <br /> Parcel map to subdivide the 1.7 acre Mezes Court Development site. <br /> Mayor Gasparini described the guidelines for testimony and presentations regarding <br /> the appeal. <br /> Planning Director Patterson presented the staff report, the background of the <br /> application and a review of the proposed project. Director Patterson stated that <br /> members of the Planning Commission had heard about parking concerns, but had made <br /> no changes to the proposal. <br /> City Attorney Schricker clarified that parking seems to be the issue of the appeal, but <br /> would be considered by Council pertained to the zoning ordinance and subdivision <br /> map matters.
