Leipzig. <br /> The newly sworn in Council Members received their Certificates of Election from Senior <br /> Deputy City Clerk Kiely and took their seats at the dais. <br /> B. Nominations and Election of Mayor for a two-year term; (307) <br /> City Clerk Jorgenson called for nominations for the Office of Mayor of Redwood City. <br /> Councilman Ruskin nominated Councilman Hartnett to the office of Mayor. Councilman <br /> Ruskin stated that there was no one amongst the Council better qualified to be the Mayor <br /> than Councilman Hartnett, that "he brings special qualities and skills and preparation that <br /> no one else could bring to the job.
