<br /> individual event participant shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary <br /> State Alcohol and Beverage Control permits and San Mateo County Health <br /> permits. Permittee shall also be responsible for obtaining all necessary City, <br /> County and State permits necessary for the fireworks display. <br />9. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and <br /> save harmless City, its City Council, officers, boards, commissions, <br /> employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or <br /> claims to which City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, <br /> resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to perform of <br /> Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out of said event or <br /> any activities herein permitted. <br />10. City Services: Except as otherwise noted, the City agrees to provide those <br /> services requested in the letter dated April 30, 2004, in furtherance of the <br /> activities herein permitted. <br /> Specifically, City agrees to provide the following services: <br /> (a) Street sweepers to be available at approximately 10:00 a.m. to pick-up <br /> horse droppings along the parade route and at the designated horse line-up <br /> areas. Sweepers will also be available along the festival area at <br /> approximately 7:00 p.m. <br /> (b) Deliver and pick-up available bleachers to Marshalll and Winslow Streets <br /> prior to and after the parade. <br /> (c) Deliver barricades, as necessary, to locations around the festival area on <br /> Thursday July 3rd, no later than 5:00 p.m. and along the parade route as <br /> determined by the Police Department and the PCA. Barricades will be in <br /> place before 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 4th. <br /> (d) Install along the parade route immediately before the parade, the PCA's <br /> American flags, which are in storage at Public Works, and remove them as <br /> soon as possible after the parade. <br /> (e) Use of a 1-1/2 inch fire hydrant for an antique fire truck demonstration in <br /> the festival area following the parade on July 4th. <br /> (f) Use of the parking structure on Marshall Street, the Main Street Media <br /> parking lot, and use of the Hamilton Street parking lot along Winslow Street <br /> for handicap and vendor parking from 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 3rd, until <br /> 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 4th. <br /> 3 <br /> -- - <br />
