6.1.A. - Page 5 <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> DOWNTOWN CONSTRUCTION COORDINATION <br /> GENERAL (TASK 1) <br /> Kitchell/CEM, Inc. ("CONSULTANT") will provide a PROJECT MANAGER to <br /> work with the City of Redwood City's ("CITY") CITY ENGINEER or his designated <br /> representative, to help coordinate construction activities associated with various CITY <br /> Downtown developments. PROJECT MANAGER working with and at the direction of <br /> the City shall: work with the developer's designated project manager to prepare a <br /> project/construction communication protocol(s) to ensure all team members <br /> communicate effectively and all relevant information and outcomes are communicated <br /> to City, developer, developer's contractor, and interested stakeholders in a timely <br /> manner; receive and respond to issues or concerns raised by businesses and residents <br /> most directly affected by on-going construction efforts, prepare status reports or <br /> updates, as requested by City; support City staff at meetings with <br /> community/stakeholders. PROJECT MANAGER working with City staff shall participate <br /> in and facilitate public outreach strategies and identify community/stakeholder <br /> sensitivities and challenges; and manage stakeholders' expectations and <br /> communication_ <br /> During construction, the PROJECT MANAGER shall be the primary point of <br /> contact for the: developer, contractor, businesses and residents, and shall keep the City <br /> or its designated representative informed as issues and resolutions develop, <br /> PROJECT MANAGEMENT (TASK 1) <br /> 1.1 The performance of all services by PROJECT MANAGER shall be to the <br /> satisfaction of the City. <br /> 1.2 PROJECT MANAGER shall coordinate all services with and <br /> communications between the City, developer, contractor, community <br /> stakeholders and City staff, as required or directed by City. <br /> 1.3 PROJECT MANAGER shall schedule and attend meetings, as necessary, <br /> or as directed by City, in order to complete all services to the satisfaction <br /> of City. <br /> REV:10-28-15 RL <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> ATTY/AGR.Amend No. 1/KITCHELL CM SERVICES -AMEND1 <br />
