Mr. Steinfeld stated the real <br />questions were why was the City supporting this grade separation and why <br />was there no public input on the decision to build this underpass. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Claire described the previous public input. <br />Council Members discussed whether there was a need for an underpass, the <br />increased number of trains CalTrain was planning to operate in the future, <br />whether it was fiscally responsible to spend tax payer's money on this <br />project, and growth projections for Redwood City and the peninsula. <br />1) TITLE READ.
