Public Hearing - Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's approval of a Use Permit to allow a 24,000 square foot County Office use at 1260-1290 Oddstad - appellant Guckenheimer Enterprises, Inc., 1450 Oddstad Drive, Redwood City (203-10) 1. REPORT: Acting Planning Director, January 24, 1994 Acting Planning Director Passinisi presented the staff report with overheads, and in response to Council questions described the County's attempt to meet the parking requirements with offsite parking. Mr. Passinisi explained that the Planning Department was adding one more condition to the Use Permit: The County to show proof by February 28, 1994 that they had secured the total 161 required parking spaces, all within 900 feet of the building, or the Use Permit and the Variance would be void. Mr. Passinisi stated the County had agreed to this cond it ion. In answer to Council questions, Mr. Passinisi described the truck traffic and loading and unloading, deliveries, bus stops, foot traffic paths, current parking patterns, and that this approval had been "a close call." Robert H. Barrett, representing SBN, Inc., owners of 1260-1290 Oddstad Drive spoke on behalf of the owners and described traffic in and around the buildings. 2.
