EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES Consultant shall provide sanitary sewer flow monitoring services and data logging as part of the City's sanitary sewer annual flow monitoring program as described in more detail below. Services shall be provided at the thirty-two (32) sites listed below. Task Description Task 1. Perform field reconnaissance and document review Consultant shall review available plans and documents, and conduct field reconnaissance of the proposed flow monitoring s�es identified by the City. The reconnaissance shall assess hydraulic conditions, manhole access, traffic control requirements, and safety issues for each site. No modifications to the proposed meter sites shall be made without prior review and approval by the City. De�rerable: Consultant shall submit documentation of site reconnaissance and final flow monitoring sites to the City by December 1, 2015. Task 2. Installation /Calibration I Maintenance!Removal of Flow Monitors: Consultant shall install ten (10) open channel flow monitors, twenty three (23) data loggers, three (3) closed pipe flow monitors and two {2) rain gauges for a period of sixty {6Q) days starting no later than December 4, 2015, with an option to extend the monitoring on a weekly basis up to one additional month. The open channel flow meters will be area-velocity type capable of measuring flows and flow depths under surcharge conditions. Closed pipe flow meters will use ultrasonic sensors mounted to the outside of the pipe to measure the signal transit time in both directions and the velocity of the fluid. Data loggers will determine the flow rate by measuring the elapsed time to fill a known volume. Pipe diameters will range from approximately 4 to 48 inches.
