Consultant shall prepare the topographic base maps and shall be completed in <br /> AUTOCAD version capable of plotting at scale of 1"=20'. Text information and other <br /> entities shall be readable at this scale when plotted on a plan and profile sheet. <br /> Final plotted text height shall be 0.1". <br /> 3. Consultant shall set center line of street at every 50 feet on tangent and 25 feet <br /> stations on curves. Survey station shall be at the center of the street at 50 feet <br /> intervals, beginning at centerline of street intersections or manholes unless <br /> otherwise noted on the project area map (see attached map). Contractor shall <br /> indicate spot elevations at each 50 foot station, center line, and lip of gutter or edge <br /> of pavement, face of curb at flow line, back of curb, sidewalk, planting strip or <br /> landscape area and right-of-way line or property line. <br /> 4. Consultant shall extend 25 feet beyond centerline of end manholes and shall extend <br /> 50 feet beyond street intersections in all possible directions unless otherwise noted <br /> (see attached map). Survey stationing 1+00 shall start at centerline of street <br /> intersection or centerline of manholes unless otherwise noted. Location map with <br /> notations of recommended starting point of Station is attached. <br /> 5. Consultant shall use Redwood City Datum in preparing the topographic survey. The <br /> City will provide the location of the nearest benchmark if required. Benchmark <br /> information used shall be noted on the topographic survey. Consultant shall use <br /> North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). <br /> 6. Consultant shall use the City's standard legend for drafting annotations. <br /> 7. Consultant shall request As-Built/Record Drawings from utility companies (Comcast, <br /> PG&E, AT&T, Pacific Bell, MCI, Astound, SVCW, Calwater, and RCN) for inclusion <br /> in the survey base map.
