Councilwoman La Berge reported on the meeting she had just attended with the <br /> Children's Executive Council representing Redwood City from the Council of Cities, and <br /> advised she had addressed the group on the issue of playing fields and sports facilities for <br /> young people in Redwood City, which turned out to be a Countywide problem. <br /> Councilwoman La Berge advised that there would be a meeting of the Children's <br /> Executive Council to discuss this issue in September with representatives from Redwood <br /> City Park, Recreation and Community Services Department.
