ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> A. Mayor Buchan thanked those in attendance from Redwood Shores and stated that the <br /> Council is supportive of the joint Community Center/School project in Redwood Shores. <br /> B. Geri Mayers, Broadway, spoke about the reinstatement of the Miss Redwood City <br /> Pageant, and requested support. Geri Mayers then introduced Debra RosIer, 1991 Miss <br /> Redwood City and a Stanford Law School student. Ms. Rosier stated that the scholarship <br /> program is the largest fund for women in the Country and the importance of community <br /> involvement. <br /> C. Jeff Filippi, Middlefield Road, thanked Council members Gasparini and La Berge and <br /> Mayor Buchan for attending the last Civic Cultural Commission awards ceremony and for <br /> presenting the awards. Mr. Filippi also spoke about the Concert in the Parks series starting <br /> MINUTE BOOK NO. 52 <br /> Page No. 267 <br /> ---.-- ----- <br />
