Mayor Buchan called on anyone who wished to speak to this issue to please come <br /> forward. <br /> Joe Staudt, Broadway merchant, asked if improvements for the 2600 block of <br /> Broadway were in the budget. He asked when the City was planning to put in the new <br /> sidewalks and other repairs. <br /> City Manager Everett stated that sidewalk repairs on Broadway are in the budget. <br /> Community Development Director Nelson stated that sidewalk repair and <br /> replacement are in the same project, although it is labeled as sidewalk repair, and it <br /> includes Broadway from Main to El Camino, but does not include narrowing of any <br /> streets. City Manager Everett suggested staff discuss this project with the merchants <br /> on the 2600 block of Broadway. <br /> Councilman Sanfilipo requested that staff look at how narrowing the street would <br /> affect traffic flow. Director Nelson stated it was being done. <br /> 4.
