Most turns during the day, there is no traffic and turn is safe
Farm Hill and Jefferson
Paint guidance lines through this intersection to prevent drivers from drifting into the
bike lane
People run the light here all the time. Before and after the change.
This intersection is too dark at night coming east from the curve. Can’t see pedestrians
crossing
Board Title: Farm Hill Blvd Restriping Plan: Canada College to Silver Hill Road
Farm Hill and Woodhill/Woodleaf
At Woodhill and Farm Hill intersection, add a “Redwood City City Limits” sign, also under
add a “Welcome to Redwood City, CA” sign.
Please add a sign letting people know they are in Redwood City around here, it would
help.
What happened to that City Limits sign two years ago on Farm Hill? I think we need a
new one telling our evaluation population and state, we also need a sign below that
saying “Welcome to Redwood City, CA” with our city logo on the bottom
When you are coming down Farm Hill leaving 280, passing Canada College and two lanes
quickly become one. In my experiences driving people are in such a hurry, speeding to
not let you in, or racing to be in front. My concern is more collisions.
MORE TRAFFIC, MORE PEOPLE, LESS LANES.
Farm Hill and Eden Bower/Eden Court
At intersection heading west on Farm Hill, we need longer right hand turn lanes.
We need more speed deterrents on this downhill stretch: radar speed signs or speed
limit painted on road.
Farm Hill and Lonesome Pine/Silver Hill
Make it 30mph with 4 lanes from 280 to Alameda.
Downhill, add one stop sign at Lonesome Pine
Farm Hill at the beginning of the incline. The merge to 1 lane and subsequent opening of
a second lane defeats the purpose of having a merge in the first place and unnecessarily
slows down traffic heading uphill.

8.A. - Page 52
