8 | Page

Board Title: Farm Hill Blvd Intersections
Farm Hill and Eden Bower/Eden Court
At intersection, install a 4‐way stoplight here
Feedback: Making a left turn onto Farm Hill is taking about 4 minutes at rush hour (to do
it safely) due to spacing of vehicles. It is worse that prior
Farm Hill and Emerald Hill
At Emerald Hill and Farm Hill, in the downhill direction, the lane merge needs to be
reviewed. The arrows and signage indicate a right to left merge, BUT the actual merge is
left to right.
o Also, many stop sign roll‐thrus here!
Paint guidance lines in the intersection to help drivers remain in their lanes going
through this intersection
Emerald Hill intersection at Farm Hill: Removing the stop sign that was in the middle of
the intersection created a hazard because of the lack of signage in the intersection
You have basically taken away my street parking and made it very dangerous when I
open my door. Also when coming downhill, I have more than once almost been rear
ended because we do not have a turn lane, the lanes are trying to merge while I’m
turning into my driveway. Please try and reconsider the lane split by the stop sign of
Farm Hill and Emerald Hill
Farm Hill and Emerald Hill: 3‐way stop – drivers do not look south and see pedestrians.
Need lights or roundabout for safe pedestrian crossing
Place blinking crosswalk
I feel that one lane from Alameda going up to Glennan is ok, but then it should be 2
lanes from Glennan to Canada College. Perhaps a stop light at Farm Hill and Emerald Hill
would be better to regulate traffic. It’s a raceway now at beginning of the divide to get
past Emerald Hill then 1 lane – then 2 lanes. This should be 2 lanes
The split is too short – drivers are confused in the dark especially. I’ve gotten honked at
for using a 2nd lane
Farm Hill and Glennan
Make it 2 lanes from Glennan to highway 280
Turning right from Farm Hill to Glennan there needs to be a longer divided white strip to
turn as it is very short and we go over the solid line anyway
Paint curb red from 10 feet, so you can make a right turn on Glennan
8.A. - Page 51
