The $532,640 grant awarded to Redwood City is set to expire July 1, 2016.
Construction needs to be completed by then to guarantee the allocation of the grant
funds. If the project is delayed beyond July 1, 2016 the San Mateo Transportation
Authority may choose to revoke the awarded grant.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The actions associated with entering into this Agreement do not constitute a project
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines. After the plans
are 35 percent completed, staff will present the project design to the Planning Division
for CEQA review. It is anticipated that the proposed improvements will be considered to
be Categorically Exempt based on the conditions that the project involves
improvements to an existing facility and the project will not generate additional traffic.

CHRISTIAN HAMMACK
PROJECT ENGINEER

AARON AKNIN
ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER

MELISSA STEVENSON DIAZ
CITY MANAGER

ATTACHMENT
-Amendment

6.1.E. - Page 3
