IN ORDER TO HOLD THE REGULAR REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING. THE MEETING WAS RECONVENED AT 7: 3 5 P.M. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Joe Steinfeld, Main Street, spoke in opposition to the Historic Sign Project stating it was a waste of money and would destroy grown trees in the downtown area; asked Council to withhold approval of the project until supporters paid at least half the cost; described an incident involving a break-in at the Senior Center and delayed police response; and suggested that the Port might be more inclined to increase its subvention to the City if monies were not spent on projects such as the one on Broadway and El Camino Real.
