Based upon the evaluation and team review of the alternatives, a preferred concept will emerge either as a refined version of one of the concepts or a hybrid of the best ideas from several concepts. The Consultant will participate in sharing the results of this work with key stakeholders. Deliverables: Station improvements and visual infegration memorandum Task 2.4— Land Uses and Parking The Consultant will identify the type of land uses which would be compatible with the transit center function of the site and would be consistent with the City's vision of the area as expressed in the Downtown Precise Plan and the General Plan. The Consultant will work with Caltrain and SamTrans to determine the practicality of development on the station site in terms of the needs for station parking and the other amenities identified in Tasks 2.2 and 2.3. The Consultant will consider how potential land uses could be incorporated into the site in terms of a viable footprint and vertical profile, taking into consideration parking and circulation needs, pedestrian/ bicycle connections, and delivery of goods and services. The team would develop options for consideration and review. The result of this work would be recommendations as to inclusion of new land uses in the station plan. Deliverables: Land uses and parking memorandum Task 2.5— Select Recommended Transit Center Plan The Consultant will prepare a project summary report which will present the results of all of the above tasks in a readily understandable format suitable for public release. The summary report will be supported by an appendix which includes the final versions of all the technical memoranda, as prepared for each task. They will also prepare a project presentation and we will be available to attend meetings of the Planning Commission and City Council.
