Task 2.4 -- Land Uses and Parking <br /> The Consultant will identify the type of land uses which would be compatible with the <br /> transit center function of the site and would be consistent with the City's vision of the area <br /> as expressed in the Downtown Precise Plan and the General Plan. The Consultant will <br /> work with Caltrain and SamTrans to determine the practicality of development on the <br /> station site in terms of the needs for station parking and the other amenities identified in <br /> Tasks 2.2 and 2.3. The Consultant will consider how potential land uses could be <br /> incorporated into the site in terms of a viable footprint and vertical profile, taking into <br /> consideration parking and circulation needs, pedestrian/ bicycle connections, and <br /> delivery of goods and services. The team would develop options for consideration and <br /> review. The result of this work would be recommendations as to inclusion of new land <br /> uses in the station plan. <br /> Deliverables: Land uses and parking memorandum <br /> Task 2.5 — Select Recommended Transit Center Plan <br /> The Consultant will prepare a project summary report which will present the results of all <br /> of the above tasks in a readily understandable format suitable for public release. The <br /> summary report will be supported by an appendix which includes the final versions of all <br /> the technical memoranda, as prepared for each task.
