13 <br /> <br />Force, and Drug Enforcement Administration, willshall receive a <br />uniform allowance of thirty dollars ($30.00) each pay period as part of <br />their regular paychecks for all pay periods during which they are <br />assigned as detectivesin one of the above positions. This amount will <br />be PERS reportable compensation. <br /> <br />7.13.4 Articles 7.13.2 and 7.13.3 are mutually exclusive such that at no time <br />shall a Police Officer have his/her PERS reportable compensation <br />increased as described in Article 7.13.2 and also receive a uniform <br />allowance as described in Article 7.13.3 for the same time period. <br /> <br />7.14 Holidays <br /> <br />For the period September 1, 2008 through December 31, 2011, regular full-time <br />employees shall be entitled to take all authorized holidays at full pay, not to <br />exceed ten (10) hours, for any one (1) day, provided they are in a pay status <br />ten (10) hours, as the case may be, on both their regularly scheduled workdays <br />immediately preceding and following the holiday; and provided further that <br />original probationary employees shall be eligible for the following holidays one <br />(1) through eleven (11) below only at the straight-time rate of pay during the <br />first six (6) months of service with the City and for the three (3) floating <br />holidays noted in twelve (12) below only upon completion of twelve (12) <br />months' service with the City. <br /> <br />Effective January 1, 2012, regular full-time employees shall be entitled to take <br />all authorized holidays at full pay, not to exceed ten (10) hours, for any one (1) <br />day, provided they are in a pay status ten (10) hours, as the case may be, on <br />both their regularly scheduled workdays immediately preceding and following <br />the holiday; and provided further that original probationary employees shall be <br />eligible for the following holidays one (1) through twelve (12) below only at the <br />straight-time rate of pay during the first six (6) months of service with the City <br />and for the two (2) floating holidays noted in thirteen (13) below only upon <br />completion of twelve (12) months' service with the City. <br /> <br />The following shall be paid holidays to all employees who are covered by this <br />MOU: <br /> <br /> 1. New Year's Day <br /> 2. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (observed on the third Monday in January) <br /> 3. Washington's Birthday (Observed on the third Monday in February) <br /> 4. Memorial Day (Observed on the last Monday in May) <br /> 5. Independence Day <br /> 6. Labor Day (Observed on the first Monday in September) <br /> 7. Veterans Day (Observed November 11) <br /> 8. Thanksgiving Day <br /> 9. The Day after Thanksgiving <br />10. Christmas Eve <br />11. Christmas Day <br />12.
