C. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The scope of engineering services described herein is the minimum necessary to <br /> meet the City's objectives. The consultant is expected to expand on the scope <br /> by incorporating their expertise and proposed method of approach. <br /> The Consultant shall perform and provide the following: ' <br /> TASK 1 — PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br /> This task provides the overall management of the project. This task includes but is <br /> not limited to the following: ' <br /> a. Consultant shall provide project coordination; communicating project issues with <br /> the City; setting up the project plan; design schedule including developing the <br /> project work plan; preparing a project schedule as well as monitoring and <br /> updating that schedule; tracking and reporting job progress. <br /> b. Consultant shall perform Quality Control Reviews and Quality Assurance of ' <br /> submittals. ' <br /> c. Consultant shall attend seven (7) meetings with City staff; Project Kick-Off <br /> meeting, 50% Design Review meeting, 75% Design Review meeting, 100% Final <br /> Design review meeting, pre-bid meeting, pre-construction meeting and final <br /> inspection. <br /> � <br /> TASK 2—SURVEYING AND UTILITIES RESEARCH <br /> This tasks includes the surveying and utilities research for the project. The tasks ' <br /> include, but are not limited to, the following: ', <br /> 1. Consultant shall review the City's existing creek deficiencies observations report ', <br /> and permits. <br /> 2. Consultant shall survey the concrete-line portion of the creek that's within the <br /> outermost waypoints in the alternatives (see attached map) and identify and <br /> include any additional deficiencies in the scope of work. ' <br /> 3. Consultant shall prepare the topographic base mapping for the project. All surface <br /> features (e.g. existing walls, trees, etc.), utility information and base mapping <br /> approximately 20 feet beyond the limits of the project shall be included. <br /> 4.
