' <br /> TASK 3—INITIAL DESIGN (50%and 75%DESIGN SUBMITTAL) ' <br /> This initial design will be used as the basis for the development of the Final Design. <br /> The tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: <br /> 1. Consultant shall develop 50% and 75% Design Submittal which shall include, but <br /> not limited to, demolition and disposal plan, general and construction notes, <br /> connection details, construction details and sections of new concrete slab and <br /> wall, site restoration work , bracing system, profile plans technical specifications, <br /> possible staging areas, and estimate of construction costs. The design <br /> calculations and analysis should include all final engineering calculations, any <br /> miscellaneous technical data, maintenance considerations and catalogue cuts for <br /> any special equipment. ' <br /> 2. Consultant shall review existing creeks conditions, observations, data, findings <br /> and recommendations. '. <br /> 3. Consultant shall conduct site visits to the creeks site to assess and analyze the <br /> condition and provide recommendations and altemative methods for repair. <br /> 4. Consultant shall comply with utility permitting agencies requirements such as with ' <br /> Department of Fish and Wildlife, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Water Boards. <br /> (Please refer to utility agencies permit requirements included in the City's request , <br /> for proposal package.) ' <br /> 5. Consultant shall coordinate with City's previous consultants regarding previous <br /> creek observations when necessary. <br /> 6. Consultant shall coordinate with the City's Community Development Department <br /> and Public Works Department when necessary. <br /> 7.
