STAFF REPORT(S) <br /> A. Complete Streets Update (701) <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1. Adopt a resolution approving formation of a Complete Streets Advisory <br /> Committee including the pilot mission, duties, structure, and membership <br /> of the new Committee as outlined therein. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15389 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY TO CREATE A PILOT PROGRAM, INCLUDING PILOT <br /> MISSION, DUTIES, STRUCTURE, AND MEMBERSHIP OF THE NEW <br /> COMMITTEE AND FORM THE COMPLETE STREETS ADVISORY <br /> COMMITTEE <br /> 2. By motion, direct staff to begin the member recruitment process for the <br /> new Complete Streets Advisory Committee. <br /> 3. By motion, direct staff to advertise for construction the Farm Hill Boulevard <br /> Street Improvement Pilot Project and to finalize an evaluation and monitoring <br /> program for the project. MINUTE ORDER 15-013 <br /> Mayor Gee provided some introductory remarks about process, general rules of <br /> engagement and Council actions before Council. Mayor Gee announced he had close <br /> to 17 speaker cards as he outlined the flow of the meeting. <br /> Community Development Director Aknin made some introductory remarks outlining the <br /> presentation and how Ms. Manzi, Senior Transportation Coordinator, was going to <br /> provide details on the Complete Streets Advisory Committee item first (presentation on <br /> file). Ms. Manzi explained the proposed committee goals as included in the staff report <br /> and how this has been under consideration for some years. She explained that the <br /> Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) created new guidelines and having a <br /> Complete Streets Committee will help with funding opportunit7ies.
