Rodrigues <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Vice Mayor Hartnett <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />1. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> A. Joe Steinfeld, 850 Main Street, asked that Council reconsider Consent Calendar Item 2.C., <br /> City submittal of an urban forestry grant application. Mr. Steinfeld introduced Michael <br /> Kirby, an 8th Grade student, who had approached Mr. Steinfeld and expressed an interest in <br /> the City's projects concerning trees. <br /> B. Michael Kirby, 8th Grade student, read his report "Save the Trees." Mayor Gasparinï <br /> thanked Michael for coming to the Council and sharing his views; and invited him to meet <br /> with General Services Director Ingram to learn the facts regarding the City's projects <br /> involving trees and urban forestry, the City's commitment to conservation, and its <br /> willingness to listen and respond to everyone's concerns. <br /> MEMO 12/6/94 <br /> C.
