Report on potential Student/Government Programs - Councilwoman Steinfeld (301-08,09) <br /> Councilwoman Steinfeld spoke about the community service done by high school students <br /> at Sequoia High School and suggested that many of them might want to do their <br /> community service in conjunction with City related programs or with individual Council <br /> Members. Councilwoman Steinfeld described her meeting with Mr. Hayes of Sequoia <br /> High School and her talk to two of his Sequoia High School government classes earlier in <br /> the day. Councilwoman Steinfeld read comments she received from the students and <br /> suggested ways Council Members and staff could get involved with the students and <br /> Sequoia High School, including the Apple for Students program and volunteering in the <br /> school library <br /> Mayor Gasparini thanked Councilwoman Steinfeld for her efforts and her report and <br /> asked that she work with the Council City/School Liaison Committee on this matter. <br /> MEMO 12/6/94 <br />--------------.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />7.
