City Center Parking Structure Underground Utility District No. 1992-1 <br /> adoption of Ordinance establishing an Underground Utility District and <br /> approving the use of City funds to modify individual service connections <br /> (1207-02) <br /> REPORT: Community Development Director, May 5, 1992 <br /> Senior Civil Engineer Lynch presented the staff report describing previous <br /> Council approval of design concept and advised that in order to qualify for <br /> Utility Underground Funds (Rule 20-A), an underground district must be <br /> established by Ordinance to mandate the undergrounding of all overhead <br /> utilities, including service drops, and removal of all wood utility poles. <br /> The cost to the City to modify individual service connections will be <br /> approximately $14,000. <br /> Mayor La Berge opened the Public Hearing at 7:42 p.m. and invited anyone who <br /> wished to speak to please do so.
