Consultant shall maintain <br /> coverage wi#h limits not less than $1,000,000 per each accident for <br /> nwned, hired and non-owned automobiles. <br /> 11_1.3 Workers' Compensation Insurance. Consultant shall maintain <br /> caverag� as required by the Califomie Labor Cade, The Workers' <br /> Compensation policy shal! contain an endorsement sta#ing that the insurer <br /> waives any right to subrogation against the Ci#y, its afficers, agents, <br /> employees and volunteers. <br /> 11.1.4 Employer's Liability Insurance. Cansultant shall maintain coverage <br /> with limits not less ihan $1,040,000 per each accident for bodily injury or <br /> disease. <br /> 11.1.5 Professional Liability Insurance. Consultan# shall maintain <br /> caverage with limits not less than $1,�OO,aoo per occurrence. <br /> Prafessional Liability may be written as claims-made coverage. <br /> 11.2. Notice of Cancellation. This insurance will be in force during the life of the <br /> Agreement and any extensions of it and will not be canceled without Consultant <br /> providing thirty (3Q) days priar wri#ten notice to City sent pursuant to the Notice <br /> provisions of#his Agreement. <br /> 11.3 Providinq Certificates of Insurance and Endorsements. Prior ta City's <br /> execution of this Agreement, Consultant shal] provide to City certif'rcates af <br /> insurance and above-referenced endorsements sufficient to satisfaction of City's <br /> Risk Manager. In no even# shali Consultant commence any work or pravide any <br /> Services under #his Agr�em�nt until certificates of insurance and endorsements <br /> have been accspted by City's Risk Manager. <br /> 11.4 Failure to Maintain Coveraae. If Consultant fails #o comply with these <br /> insurance requirements, then City will have the option to declare Consultant in <br /> breach, or may purchase replac�ment insurance or pay the premiums that are <br /> due on existing policies in orde�- to m�intain the required coverages. Consultant <br /> is responsible fcar any payments made by City to obtain or maintain insurance <br /> and City may collect these payments from Consultant or deduct #he amount paid <br /> fram any sums due Consultant under this Agreement. <br /> 11.5 Submission of Insurar�ce Policies.
