EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES itemized List of what Consultant will do for City and at what price and schedule. A. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City of Redwood City {City) has requested a proposal fo�the renovation of the three pairs of existing tennis courts located at Dolphin, Mariin and Shorebird Parks. The design will include reconstruction of the existing courts at Dolphin Park, an asphalt ove�lay at Shorebirc! Park, and just an acrylic resurfacing at Marlin Park. Dolphin Park will be the only site anticipated to receive new fencing, and all three sites will receive new court nets and support posts. As the woric at each site is less than an acre, no SWPPP documentation with State of California is necessary, C.3 documentation is not included for polphin and Shorebird Parks as the limit of work is not to e�ctend beyond the court areas, and no biotreatment areas will be included in the project. Improvements are limited to the immediate tennis court areas, and do not include any electrical o� stn�ctural enginee�ng services at this time (with the exception of the new court lighting at Dolphin Park). Inciuded in the scope are topographic surveying and geotechnical investigative services for the immediate tennis court area at Dolphin Park only. Surveying work will be based on an assumed elevation datum (i.e. not tied to a specific City benchmark). Also included in the scope is the assessment of the court lighting system at Dolphin Paric, as well as recommendations and design for a new court lighting system, including the foundation design. Pole and fixture design will be provided by lighting manufacturer. Electrical design assumes existing power at Dolphin Park is adequate and no service upgrade is necessary. B. SCOPE OF SERVICES Verde Design wi8 provide the following detailed scope of work based on the above stated project description: Task 1: Project Start-up/Site Assessment 1. Attend one kick-off meeting with City to discuss project, including budget, timeline and parameters. a. Receive relevant documents from the City for all sites including as-built drawings and specification as well as any other information that will assist in the assessment of the facilities. b.
