SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br /> A. Presentation of Proclamation in honor of the 50th wedding anniversary of <br /> Vice Mayor and Mrs. Robert H. Bury (301-04) <br /> Mayor La Berge read the proclamation and presented red roses to June Bury <br /> and Vice Mayor Bury in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary. The Burys <br /> thanked the Mayor and their Council "family" for this special presentation. <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> B. Presentation of Videos (301-08) <br /> City Manager Everett gave a brief overview of the two videos and the <br /> state budget deficit crisis as it related to Redwood City. <br /> 1) liThe California Dream: In Trouble" produced by the City of Lakewood <br /> which discussed the impacts of the state fiscal crisis on Lakewood and <br /> other cities in California. <br /> 2) A video of a July 22, 1992, State Legislature Conference Committee <br /> discussion on solutions to the State's budget deficit trying to explain <br /> ways cities and redevelopment agencies could bailout the State.
