Monica Colondres, Redwood City, representing the Redwood City DOTS, a <br /> women's Slow Pitch Softball Team, told Council the DOTS had won the <br /> Redwood City Tournament and were going to Marietta, Georgia for the <br /> national championships, "C" Division, on September 24th through the 27th. <br /> Ms. Colondres asked Council Members if they could provide some financial <br /> assistance to the DOTS as they have done for other teams in the past. <br /> Council Members congratulated the DOTS, and since no action could be <br /> taken on an item not on the scheduled agenda, this item was referred to <br /> the next Council Meeting on August 31, 1992.
