6.1.C. - Page 3
budget as Water Bond Projects Fund— Recycled Water System Development— RW
Distribution System Cathodic Protection Upgrade with an available balance of
$156,008.00 as of April 14, 2016.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
As the lead agency, City of Redwood City has determined that the Cathodic Protection
Upgrade of the Recycled Water First Steps Pipeline Project meets the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption criteria as set forth in CEQA
Guidelines Section 15302, ("Replacement or Reconstruction") of the CEQA
regulations. Furthermore, this project has been designed compliant with the City's
Engineering Standards and accepted practices.
This project does not require a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System
(NPDES) General Permit for stormwater discharges associated with construction and
land disturbance activities pursuant to Attachment A.2 of Order No. R2-2015-0049,
NPDES Permit No. CAS612008, which exempts projects to update existing lines and
facilities. However, the proposed construction will employ stormwater pollution
prevention best methods and practices.
JEFFREY CHOU
ASSISTANT ENGINEER II
Ce5:=Ael
AARON AKNIN
ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER/COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
. c—+cvew f
MELISSA STEVENSON DIAZ
CITY MANAGER
ATTACHMENT
-PROJECT LOCATION MAP
