management area ; <br /> NOW , THEREFORE ; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Management <br /> of Storm Water Basin and Mitigation Pond ( ' Management Agreement ' ) , " <br /> by and between Mobil , the City Council of the City of Redwood City , <br /> a municipal corporation , acting as governing body , for and on <br /> behalf of the City of Redwood City and for and on behalf of Redwood <br /> City General Improvement District No . 1- 64 , and the State of <br /> California , acting by and through its Department of Fish and Game , <br /> providing for the management of certain portions of Phelps Slough <br /> as a wildlife habitat and wildlife management area in conjunction <br /> with the use of facilities therein for fresh water storm drainage <br /> and the flood control purposes , a copy of which agreement is on <br /> file in the office of the City Clerk , to which copy reference is <br /> hereby made for the full particulars thereof is hereby approved , <br /> and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> and General Improvement District No . 1- 64 . <br /> 2 . This Council hereby finds that the mitigation plan described <br /> in the agreement approved in paragraph 1 hereof , and the provisions <br /> of that certain agreement entitled " Phelps Slough Mitigation <br /> Agreement" by and between the State of California , acting by and <br /> through the Department of Fish and Game , and Mobil Oil Estates <br /> ( Redwood ) Limited , a California corporation , and Mobil Oil Estates <br /> (Bair Island Investments ) Limited , a Delaware Corporation , a copy <br /> of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk , to <br /> 2 <br />
