<br /> WHEREAS, affected grade crossings within the jurisdiction of Redwood <br /> City and Each City are located at track intersections shown on Attachment 1, <br /> attached hereto and incorporated by this reference; and <br /> WHEREAS, Each City has total maintenance responsibility for roadway <br /> segments either side of the work locations located within its own jurisdiction. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES <br /> HERETO, as follows: <br /> 1. Redwood City agrees to be project manager for the design and <br /> installation of rubberized grade crossings under the jurisdiction of Redwood City <br /> and Each City. <br /> 2. Each City agrees to contribute and pay Redwood City on demand the <br /> sum of $15,000 per crossing undertaken within its jurisdiction as per Article #3, <br /> Safety Funds, or from local funds allocated to the project or other appropriate <br /> source of funds as its total contribution per crossing within its jurisdiction. <br /> 3. Each City agrees that a maximum of 5% of the maximum actual <br /> construction and installation cost shown on Attachment 1 will be retained and <br /> used by Redwood City to cover the cost of administration of the Project. The <br /> construction and installation of each rubberized grade crossings shall be as set <br /> forth in Attachment 1, as decreased or augmented pursuant to extras, change <br /> orders, or other changes for each crossing.
