However, under normal <br /> operating conditions, this information will be transmitted to the meter management system and then removed <br /> from the meter during the next meter communication event, and no less than once every 15 hours. This data is <br /> available via the DMS on any web-enabled device such as a handheld or smart phone. <br /> 12. Collection Event Recording and Revenue Counter Reset <br /> a. The Proposer's solution shall provide an ability to reset MSM coin counters at the time of the <br /> physical coin collection. <br /> IPS complies. The process to reset the coin box is described below. <br /> Step 1 : Use coin box key to open and <br /> Step 2: With red circle showing, unlock and open coin box. <br /> Step 3 : Simultaneously press forward release lever and shift mechanism reset pin. <br /> Step 4: Confirm that green dot is showing after closing coin box. <br /> b. The Proposer's solution shall be able to record the time and date of the door opening, and detailed <br /> coin audits since the last collection within the proposed CMS. <br /> IPS complies. This information is recorded in the DMS. <br /> c. The Proposer's solution shall be able to support opening of the vault door for maintenance purposes. <br /> This means opening of the vault door without producing coin audit or a MSM coin counter reset. <br /> IPS complies. The IPS maintenance card enables authorized personnel to run test transactions at the pay <br /> station. Each test transaction will be logged in the DMS under the Maintenance Credit screen. In addition, <br /> maintenance cards can be used to allow designated vehicles to park in pay station lots. The cards may be <br /> configured to a certain individual (i.e., Technician ABC) and all meter maintenance credits are logged in the <br /> management system for easy tracking. Time added to the meter with the meter maintenance card will not <br /> affect the customer's revenue audit. <br /> d. All vault opening events data shall be entered into the CMS and be available as report filters. <br /> IPS complies. All vault opening events data will be recorded in the DMS. <br /> e. The Proposer's solution shall have the ability to reset MSMs' coin counters remotely from the CMS <br /> (both stand alone and mobile). This feature shall support both individual MSM reset and group resets <br /> that depend on set CMS groupings (e.g., collection route and sub route, maintenance route, street <br /> block(s), or the entire Street). <br /> IPS complies. <br /> 13. Security and Coin Collection <br /> a, The proposed MSM solution shall allow no access to the coin vault area from the maintenance <br /> compartment. <br /> IPS complies. The MS 1 features a separate coin and maintenance area which are secured by separate locking <br /> systems. <br /> b. The proposed MSM Solution shall allow no access to the maintenance compartment from the coin <br /> vault area. <br /> IPS complies.
