IPS complies. The physical opening is very restrictive to anything other than a standard sized credit card. If a <br /> smaller thinner object was able to be inserted, IPS has designed the card reader with a cutout to allow such <br /> foreign objects to fall through and prevent card reader obstruction. <br /> 11. Revenue Audit Capabilities <br /> a. Proposed MSMs shall record/store the number and value of all valid coins, including a count of each <br /> individual type of valid coin (e.g., quarters, dimes, nickels) and the date and time each coin was <br /> inserted. <br /> IPS complies. Please see the Appendix for sample DMS reports. <br /> b. MSMs shall record/store a count of each invalid coin. <br /> IPS complies. The MS 1 will track and record the use of each invalid coin. <br /> c. MSMs shall record/store the number and value of valid pre-paid and credit card transactions, and a <br /> summary of electronic cash amounts. <br /> IPS complies. The MS I will track and record all payments made at the meter. <br /> d. Each type of payment information (valid coins, invalid coins, electronic payments) shall be stored <br /> separately in the MSM's memory. <br /> IPS complies. This information will be stored in the DMS. <br /> e. Electronic information (coin count and revenue totals) shall be 99% accurate when compared to the <br /> following: <br /> i. Coins: between CMS collection report and physical coin count. <br /> ii. Credit Card: between gateway report and bank deposit. <br /> IPS complies. <br /> f. Audit information shall be available for retrieval through CMS (both standard and mobile versions <br /> and/or handheld device). <br /> IPS complies. Audit information is available to authorized users via the DMS on any web-enabled device. <br /> g. Financial audit data shall not be affected by the reading or retrieval of maintenance data, by <br /> resetting the MSM, or by other maintenance events. <br /> IPS complies. In the event of a system reset or maintenance event, financial audit data will not be affected. <br /> h. Proposal Deliverables - Revenue Audit Capabilities <br /> The Proposer shall describe the MSM's ability to store audit records: <br /> i. How many records can be stored? <br /> ii. How long can the records be stored? <br /> iii. Can records be retained in the MSM's memory after they have been sent to respective CMS? <br /> iv. What are the attributes of the stored audit records? <br /> v. Can stored records be retrieved by a mobile device such as handheld or smart phone with using an <br /> appropriate application? <br /> IPS complies. IPS meters use non-volatile flash memory for the secure storage of all meter event and <br /> transaction information as permitted by PA-DSS and PCI-DSS requirements. This includes payment <br /> transactions, maintenance events, diagnostic events, coin collections, meter faults, battery status, and all other <br /> event data within the meter.
