Confirm message indicating transaction has been completed. <br /> 4. Pay-by-Smart Phone Transaction <br /> a. Open Pay-by-Smart Phone iPhone or Android app. <br /> b. Follow instructions when connected. <br /> c. Key-in Parking Space Number when prompted. <br /> d. Select Parking Time Desired when prompted. <br /> e. Confirm message indicating transaction has been completed. <br /> 5. No Data Communications Payment <br /> a. Disconnect data communications from machine. <br /> b. Process several normal transactions as indicated above (only cash). <br /> c. Verify system works as if it were a normal transaction. <br /> d. Re-establish communications. <br /> e. Verify transactions are uploaded to the CMS. <br /> 6. Receipt and Coin Vault Removal and Replacement <br /> a. Verify that coin vault can be easily removed/inserted and includes a locking mechanism. <br /> b. Verify that receipt read/write device(s) are readily accessible for replacement of roll stock. <br /> c. Verify that MSM main door properly aligns and locks upon service completion of above units. <br /> d. Verify that action is reported to CMS. <br /> IPS complies. IPS will conduct and ensure the successful completion of the above verification tests prior to <br /> City acceptance. <br /> 3.11 TRAINING PROGRAM <br /> A. The Proposer shall provide the following training: <br /> 1. Provide all training in Redwood City, California at a location to be determined by the City. <br /> The Proposer shall cover all travel and other costs associated with training. <br /> 2. Provide training in the CMS in all areas necessary to deploy, maintain, operate, and enforce parking <br /> meters to be supplied under the contract. <br /> 3. Provide four eight-hour days of detailed training covering maintenance, finance/accounting/audit, <br /> enforcement, and CMS usage, as scheduled by City. if, at City's sole discretion, more training is <br /> required, the Proposer shall provide up to three additional, eight-hour days of detailed training <br /> covering maintenance, finance/accounting/audit, enforcement, and CMS usage, as scheduled by City. <br /> Ensure that Initial training for system managers, Meter Shop field personnel, and collection staff is <br /> completed prior to turning on the new meter according to a schedule to be approved by the City. <br /> IPS will provide as much training (both on-site and web-based) as required by the City, including additional <br /> sessions, specialized sessions customized to the needs of the City, both before, during and after MS 1 pay <br /> station deployment. Additionally, IPS can provide multiple trainers to conduct even more sessions if <br /> necessary. Most IPS training sessions are a combination of onsite classroom and hands on use of MS 1 pay <br /> stations and management system, including manuals for reference material. As new features are deployed, <br /> additional training sessions can be established at mutually agreeable times to provide updates and refresher <br /> training.
