15. luri�cliGtion and V�nue. Any action at law or in equi#y brought by either of the <br /> Parties for the purpose of en#orcing a right or rights provided far by this Agreement v�ill <br /> be tried in a court of competent jurisdiction in the County of San Mateo, State of <br /> Califomia, and the Parties waive all provisions of law providing for a change of venue in <br /> these proceedings to any other c�unty. <br /> 16. Paragraph Headinas, Paragraph headings as used herein are for convenience <br /> only and will not be deemed to be a part of such paragraphs and will not be cans#rued <br /> to change the meaning thereof. <br /> 17. Entire A�..,reement. This Agreement, together with any other written document <br /> referred to or contemplated by it, embody the entire agreemsnt and understanding <br /> between the parties relating to the subJect matter of it. Neither this Agreement nor any <br /> of its provisions may be amended, mod�ed, waived or discharged except in a writing <br /> signed by both parties. <br /> 18. Severabilitv. The provisions of this Agreement shall be severable and ff any <br /> phrase, clause, section, subsection, paragraph, subdivision, sentence of provision is <br /> ad�udged invalid or un�nstitutional by a court of oompet�nt jurisdiction, or the <br /> applic�b��ity to any Property Owner is held invalid, this shall not affect or invalidate the <br /> remainder of any phrase, clause, section, subsection, paragraph� subdivision, sentence <br /> or provision of th�s Agreement. <br /> 19. Covenant RunnFn� vvith the Lancf. This Agreement vv�1 be reoonded by the Ci#y fn <br /> the County Reoarder's Off'�e of the Caunty o# San Mateo, Cali�omia at the PropertY <br /> Ovmer's expense. The covenants and agreements conta�ed hera�n shail be deemed to <br /> be covenants tinning with T�tle to the land for the benefit of the C�ty and �ts sucoessors. <br /> 20. Release of Aareement. In the event that the City c�termines that the stormwater <br /> treatment measures located on tf� Property are no {onger required, then the C'rty, at the <br /> request of the Property Owner sha8 execute a release of this Agreement� which the <br /> Property Owner shall record in the County Recorder's Office at the Property Own�r's <br /> e�cpense. The City reserves the option to record such release of this Agreement. The <br /> stormwater treatment measure(s) shatl not be removed from the Property unless such a <br /> release is so executed and recorded. <br /> 21. Effective Date and Modfication. This Agreement is effec#ive upon the date af <br /> execution as stated at the beginning of this Agreement. This Agreement sfiall nat be <br /> modi�ed except by w�itten instrument executed by the City and the Property Owner at <br /> the time of modific�tion.
